The Shure SBC-AX is a 2-bay charging module that enables SB900-series Li-Ion batteries (SB900A, SB900B, SB900C) to be charged in Shure AXT900, AXT903, AXT904, and SBRC rack-mount charging stations. Designed for AV integrators and production teams building modular charging infrastructure around the Shure Axient wireless platform, the SBC-AX allows organizations to standardize on a single rackmount charger while retaining compatibility with SB900-series battery inventory across ULX-D, QLX-D, PSM 900, and PSM 1000 systems.
Product Description
The SBC-AX installs into any available bay of the AXT900, AXT903, AXT904, or SBRC charging station, allowing up to four modules to be mixed and matched in a single 1RU chassis. At a 750 mA charge current, each module independently charges two SB900-series batteries with no interference between bays. Modules are interchangeable and hot-swappable between compatible charger housings, providing flexibility for touring productions, broadcast studios, and permanent commercial AV installations that require the ability to change battery types as system requirements evolve.
