Product Overview
The Shure RPMDH5B/O-MTQG is the OEM replacement boom arm and cable assembly for the DH5 DuraPlex omnidirectional headset microphone in black, terminated with an MTQG (TA4F-compatible) connector. This is the direct-connect replacement for integrators running DH5 headsets with Shure TA4F wireless bodypack transmitters — including the ULXD1, QLXD1, SLXD1, AD1, and ADX1 — in theater, broadcast, and commercial live event environments. The MTQG termination is the most common Shure bodypack connector, making this the standard replacement part for most commercial DH5 deployments.
Product Description
The RPMDH5B/O-MTQG ships as the complete boom arm, DuraPlex MEMS omnidirectional capsule, and 1.6 mm Plex cable pre-terminated with an MTQG connector using the standard 3-wire wiring design (pin 2 bias, pin 3 audio, pin 1/shell ground) for all Shure TA4F bodypacks. Cable length is 66 inches (1.67 m). The IP57-certified DuraPlex MEMS element provides 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, 132 dB SPL maximum, and a 101 dB dynamic range, and resists sweat, moisture, and dust for demanding stage and broadcast use. The black colorway matches the DH5 black headset frame. The boom arm mounts into the DH5 boom pivot and is field-switchable between left and right positioning per the DH5 user guide.
