The Shure RPMDH5B/O-LM3 is the OEM replacement boom arm and cable assembly for the DH5 DuraPlex omnidirectional headset microphone in black, terminated with a LEMO connector. Designed for theater, broadcast, and corporate event applications requiring IP57-rated headset microphone serviceability, this replacement part restores the DH5 to full operation with the same MEMS capsule and 1.6 mm Plex cable construction used in new DH5 units. The LEMO termination is compatible with Shure LEMO bodypack transmitters including the ADX1-LEMO, UR1M-LEMO, and ULXD1-LEMO.
Product Description
The RPMDH5B/O-LM3 ships as the complete boom arm, DuraPlex MEMS omnidirectional capsule, and 1.6 mm Plex cable assembly pre-terminated with a LEMO connector — the same 3-wire wiring design (pin 2 bias, pin 3 audio, pin 1 ground) used in the factory DH5-LEMO configuration. Cable length is 66 inches (1.67 m). The DH5 MEMS element provides 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, 132 dB SPL maximum, and a 101 dB dynamic range. The IP57-rated DuraPlex capsule resists sweat, moisture, and dust, maintaining operation in demanding stage and broadcast environments. The black colorway matches the DH5 black headset frame for a low-visibility, uniform appearance. The boom arm mounts into the DH5 headset frame via the boom pivot assembly and is field-switchable between left and right positioning.
