The RPM626 is included as a standard accessory with several Shure microphone models — including the Beta 98AD/C, Beta 98H/C, and WBH53 — and is sold separately as a replacement or spare for systems where the original unit has been lost or damaged. The in-line design allows the preamp to be positioned between the microphone capsule cable and the XLR or bodypack input, providing RF interference rejection without requiring modification to the microphone or audio system. The RPM626 operates via phantom power provided by the connected mixer or preamplifier.
