Product Description
Foam windscreens provide basic wind protection but are insufficient in environments with moderate to strong airflow. The RPM40MWJ uses Rycote’s established Mini Windjammer fur construction, which creates a turbulent air layer around the capsule that effectively prevents wind-generated noise from reaching the microphone element. This is particularly valuable for TwinPlex TL lavaliers used in outdoor corporate events, outdoor broadcast, sports venue AV systems, and similar environments where air movement is unpredictable. The gray fur color is neutral and inconspicuous in most deployment contexts. The 2-pack supports facilities maintaining multiple TwinPlex TL microphones for events or productions where outdoor use is routine.
