The Shure RPM400TQG is a wired preamplifier that converts the TQG (TA4F) output of TwinPlex subminiature microphones to a standard XLR connection for integration with professional audio consoles and installed AV systems. It is the counterpart to the RPM400LEMO, supporting TQG-terminated TwinPlex variants and a broader range of compatible Shure microphones including the SM35. The included beltclip enables clean cable management in commercial wired presenter applications.

Where the RPM400LEMO serves LEMO3-terminated TwinPlex mics, the RPM400TQG serves the TQG (TA4F) connector variant, which is compatible with a wider range of Shure wired microphones beyond the TwinPlex series. Commercial AV integrators specifying the SM35 performance headset, TL46/TL47/TL48 lavaliers, or WL93 miniature lavalier can use the RPM400TQG to connect directly to XLR inputs without a wireless receiver in the signal chain. This is particularly useful in fixed installations such as conference rooms, courtrooms, and training rooms where a wired connection is preferred over wireless for reliability and latency predictability. The beltclip keeps the preamp body secured to the presenter for clean, managed cable routing.
