Product Overview
The Shure RK100PKW is the white-finish in-line preamplifier for Shure Microflex series microphones, providing increased resistance to RF interference in commercial AV installations. It is the white-finish counterpart to the RK100PK and is designed to match white-finish Microflex installations including the MX202W overhead microphone and white-finish lavalier and condenser Microflex models. The RK100PKW is used in conference rooms, training rooms, and commercial meeting spaces where RF noise from wireless devices or 2-way radios degrades audio quality.
Product Description
The RK100PKW installs in-line between the Microflex microphone capsule and the XLR cable run, rejecting RF interference from nearby transmitters, wireless infrastructure, and grounding issues without requiring additional power or signal path changes. Compatible with the same broad range of Shure Microflex microphones as the RK100PK — including MX183, MX184, MX185, MX153, MX291, Beta 91, Beta 98, and SM93 — the RK100PKW provides a straightforward upgrade or replacement for white-finish ceiling and overhead installations in corporate, government, and educational AV environments. The companion black-finish version is the RK100PK.
