The Shure RK100PK is an in-line preamplifier kit for Microflex series microphones that boosts resistance to RF interference from nearby transmitters, 2-way radios, and grounding noise. It is the black-finish replacement preamplifier for the MX202 overhead microphone and is also compatible with a broad range of Shure Microflex lavalier, earset, and condenser microphones including the MX183, MX184, MX185, MX153, and MX291. The RK100PK is used in commercial AV installations where RF noise is a concern in conference rooms, training rooms, and multi-purpose spaces.
Product Description
The RK100PK replaces or supplements the existing in-line preamplifier in Microflex microphone systems, providing increased RFI rejection for installations in electrically noisy environments such as courtrooms, corporate boardrooms, and government facilities where wireless devices and radio communication equipment operate nearby. It connects between the microphone capsule and the XLR cable run, integrating transparently into existing Microflex cabling infrastructure. The black finish matches the MX202B and other black-finish Microflex models. The RK100PKW is the white-finish version for white-finish MX202 and Microflex installations.
