Product Overview

The Shure MXWAPX4-Z10 is a four-channel access point transceiver for the Microflex Wireless neXt conferencing ecosystem, serving as the network hub that links MXW neXt wireless transmitters to a room's audio system. It combines analog, Dante, and USB-C connectivity with built-in IntelliMix DSP, so a single device handles wireless reception, processing, and routing for boardrooms and conference rooms. Automatic Frequency Management scans the spectrum and moves channels when interference is expected, reducing the RF coordination burden on integrators. A supplied mounting plate and paintable cover allow discreet ceiling or wall placement where low visibility matters.

Product Description

The MXWAPX4 manages up to four wireless audio channels from MXW neXt transmitters and brings their audio into the room system over analog, Dante, or USB-C connections. Built-in IntelliMix DSP applies automatic mixing, acoustic echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control, and EQ, which means a separate DSP is often unnecessary for straightforward conferencing rooms. Power over Ethernet and Dante networked audio both arrive on a single Ethernet cable to simplify installation, and a dual RJ45 connection supports Switched, Split, or Redundant network operation modes for flexible integration into enterprise networks. Two-way wireless transmission enables remote control of the transmitters and delivery of secondary program audio back to each one. The system scales as needs grow: multiple access points combine to support up to 40 compatible channels, or 80 in Europe and select countries, and these figures double in HD mode. Standards-based security covers 802.1x, secure boot and storage, and AES encryption for both wired and wireless control and audio data, and selectable RF output power lets integrators tune coverage to the room. Diagnostic LEDs show power, wireless, and network audio status, and a control user interface is reachable from a PC on the same network. Compatible MXW neXt transmitters and accessories are available at creationnetworks.net.
