The MXN-6 uses a dual-driver architecture with a 5.25-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter, delivering wider frequency response and more balanced coverage than a single-driver ceiling speaker, which benefits both speech reproduction and general room audio in AV conferencing applications. The pendant form factor suspends from the ceiling on a cable rather than mounting into a tile grid, making it a practical fit for rooms with exposed structural ceilings, high ceilings, or architectural finishes where a flush tile speaker cannot be installed.

Two Dante/AES67 inputs and one output let integrators route and cascade audio to additional networked devices, and PoE/PoE+ power eliminates the need for a separate amplifier or power supply. AES encryption secures audio traffic, and integrated Shure DSP utilities allow tuning and configuration alongside other Microflex Ecosystem devices. Paired with Microflex Advance array microphones and IntelliMix DSP, the MXN-6W becomes part of a complete networked audio system for boardrooms and open-plan conferencing spaces.
