Product Overview
The Shure MXA320B is a premium networked table array microphone purpose-built for commercial AV conferencing environments. Combining Steerable Coverage™ technology with onboard IntelliMix® DSP, the MXA320B delivers precise, echo-free audio over a single Ethernet connection carrying both Dante audio networking and PoE power. Designed for boardrooms, conference rooms, and collaboration spaces, it is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom and integrates directly into leading UC platforms without external AEC hardware. The MXA320B received an InfoComm Best of Show 2026 award.
Product Description

The Shure MXA320B is the next evolution in the Microflex® Advance™ table array microphone series. Engineered for commercial AV integrators, its black finish suits dark conference room table surfaces and AV furniture. Four independently steerable channels use Steerable Coverage™ technology so coverage lobes can be configured in Shure Designer software to match any seating arrangement — without physically repositioning the microphone.
Onboard IntelliMix® DSP handles acoustic echo cancellation with up to 250 ms tail length, noise reduction, automatic gain control (AGC), 4-band parametric EQ, compressor, and delay — all processed within the device before audio reaches the conferencing platform. This keeps latency under 1.7 ms (not including Dante network latency) and reduces external DSP hardware requirements. The MXA320B outputs 6 channels over Dante/AES67 at 48 kHz/24-bit: four direct outputs, one automix output, and one AEC reference input.

Each channel's polar pattern is independently configurable — cardioid, hypercardioid, supercardioid, toroid, omnidirectional, or bidirectional — giving AV system designers precision coverage control for complex room layouts and multiple talker zones. The device draws up to 5W from standard PoE (Class 0) via a single RJ45 connection, eliminating separate power supply runs. The programmable LED light ring provides mute status indication synchronized with Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms.
Managed through ShureCloud for remote monitoring and firmware updates, the MXA320B pairs with Shure Designer for system-level configuration. It integrates with the full Shure Microflex Advance ecosystem, including the IntelliMix P300 conferencing processor and MXA920 ceiling array microphone for larger or multi-zone deployments. Enterprise security protocols including 802.1x are supported for IT-managed networks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the MXA320B require a separate DSP processor?
Not necessarily. Onboard IntelliMix® DSP includes AEC, noise reduction, AGC, EQ, and compressor. For direct Dante-to-platform connections running Teams or Zoom, onboard DSP covers most conferencing processing. A separate processor such as the Shure IntelliMix P300 may be needed for complex multi-zone systems, analog speaker outputs, or USB routing.
Does the MXA320B need a separate power supply?
No. The MXA320B is powered via PoE (Class 0, max 5W) over the same Cat5e or higher cable used for Dante audio and control. A PoE-capable switch or injector is required.
How many coverage zones does the MXA320B support?
The MXA320B provides four independently steerable channels, each with a configurable polar pattern, allowing up to four distinct coverage lobes. Coverage is configured in Shure Designer or the web application without physical adjustment.
Is the MXA320B compatible with third-party DSP platforms?
Yes. The MXA320B outputs Dante/AES67 audio compatible with Biamp, QSC, Crestron, Extron, and other DSP platforms. It is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
What network switch specs are required for Dante?
Shure recommends a managed gigabit switch with PoE ports, Diffserv QoS (strict priority, 4 queues), and the ability to disable Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE). Cat5e or higher shielded cable is recommended.
What is the warranty on the Shure MXA320B?
The MXA320B carries a 2-year limited warranty. Contact Creation Networks for support and warranty service options.
How does the MXA320B compare to the MXA920 ceiling array microphone?
The MXA320B sits on or flush-mounts to a conference table for close-proximity coverage. The MXA920 is ceiling-mounted for open spaces where table mounting is not feasible. Both use Steerable Coverage™ and IntelliMix® DSP and can be combined for comprehensive room coverage.
