Product Description
The MX418SC adds a quiet mute switch and status LED at the base of the 18-inch gooseneck, as shown in the product image, so a presenter can mute without the click or thump of a mechanical switch. Its balanced, transformerless preamp output maintains a clean signal across the long cable runs typical of distributed commercial AV systems, and Shure CommShield technology rejects RF interference from nearby mobile devices. The microphone ships with a complete installation kit including a shock-mount and flange-mount adapter and a snap-fit foam windscreen for fast table and lectern installation. Because the cartridge is interchangeable, integrators can refit a supercardioid or omnidirectional capsule as room acoustics change.
