The Shure MX415RLP/N is a 15-inch low-profile gooseneck microphone with a status light ring, supplied without a cartridge or preamp. It gives AV integrators a consistent, minimal-footprint gooseneck base with a clear visual mute cue, ideal for large standardized commercial AV deployments in conference rooms and boardrooms.
Product Description
The MX415RLP/N ships as a bare 15-inch low-profile gooseneck with a top light ring: no cartridge and no preamp. Integrators add the cardioid (R185), supercardioid (R184), or omnidirectional (R183) Microflex cartridge per room, then connect through a 6-pin modular connector to a Microflex surface-mount preamp (MX400SMP), desktop base (MX400DP), or a Microflex Complete or Complete Wireless system. This configuration suits projects that standardize on goosenecks and source cartridges and preamps separately to control inventory. The light ring signals microphone status to the room, Shure Commshield RF filtering rejects mobile-device interference, and the balanced output preserves signal quality over long cable runs.
