The cardioid pattern covers one or two talkers while rejecting off-axis noise, and the extra reach suits lecterns and podiums. The preamp integrates with automatic mixers and DSPs for gated, logic-controlled operation, and the bi-color LED signals talk and mute status. CommShield RF filtering protects against mobile and wireless interference, while a switchable 150 Hz low-cut filter reduces HVAC rumble. A snap-fit windscreen adds 30 dB of pop protection.
