Product Overview
The Shure MX405WRLP/N gooseneck microphone is a 5-inch white, low-profile Microflex modular body with a top red LED ring, supplied without a cartridge so integrators specify the polar pattern at install time. The white finish blends into light-colored conference tables, lecterns, and worship furniture across commercial AV installations. The "LP" version ships without a preamp for direct connection to Microflex and ULX-D systems.
Product Description
The MX405WRLP/N provides the 12.7 cm (5 in) gooseneck, top red light ring, and active-balanced electronics of the Microflex platform in a white housing. Integrators add an interchangeable Microflex cartridge — such as the R183 omnidirectional, R184 supercardioid, or R185 cardioid — to match the room and talker layout. This modular gooseneck microphone mounts through a conference table or lectern using the Shure MX400SMP surface-mount preamp (sold separately) and integrates with automatic mixers for gated, logic-controlled operation. CommShield RF filtering protects against mobile and wireless interference, and a switchable 150 Hz low-cut filter reduces HVAC rumble.
