Product Description

The MX400SMP is designed for permanent installation where a gooseneck microphone needs to sit flush to the mounting surface. It accepts MX405, MX410, and MX415 Microflex gooseneck microphones in both standard and light-ring versions, and routes audio and control through a single 5-pin XLR female connector. An LED logic input allows remote LED and mute control, so when the preamp is connected to an automatic mixer the gooseneck's indicator reflects on/mute status across the room. A set of dip switches engages a built-in low-cut filter that attenuates frequencies below 150 Hz to reduce structural rumble, and two rubber isolation rings decouple the microphone from vibrations in the mounting surface. CommShield technology helps reject RF interference from nearby wireless devices. The unit ships with mounting hardware for clean flush installation in conference rooms, houses of worship, and government chambers.
