Part of the Shure Microflex low-profile boundary family, the MX395B/BI figure-8 boundary microphone sits nearly flush to the surface and uses a bidirectional pattern to capture talkers positioned in front of and behind the microphone. This makes a single unit efficient for two participants seated opposite each other, such as an interview desk or a narrow conference table. An active-balanced output and 3-pin XLR connector integrate directly with installed mixers and DSP processors. With a wide 50 Hz to 17 kHz response and low susceptibility to RF and electromagnetic interference, it delivers accurate speech reproduction for conferencing and commercial meeting spaces. The black finish blends with dark tables and modern interiors.
