The Shure MX395AL/BI-LED is a low-profile bidirectional boundary microphone with integrated bi-color status LED, designed for installed AV applications in conference rooms, boardrooms, and commercial meeting spaces where both audio pickup and visual mute status indication are required. The bi-color LED provides clear on/off or mute status feedback to meeting participants without requiring a separate indicator panel or room control touchscreen. Like the standard MX395AL/BI, the LED model captures speech from both sides of a conference table in a single 1.25-inch (3.8 cm) brushed aluminum housing with CommShield RF interference immunity. The LED requires 48–52 V DC phantom power; verify your preamp or DSP output meets this requirement before specifying.
