The dual-exit design feeds both earcups for balanced left and right channel delivery.
Product Description
The HPASCA2 replacement headphone cable uses oxygen-free copper conductors in a dual-exit configuration that connects to both earcups of the Shure SRH1440 and SRH1840. The cable detaches at the headphone end, so technicians can swap a damaged cable in the field rather than retiring an otherwise serviceable pair of headphones. For broadcast facilities, post-production suites, and AV monitoring stations that standardize on Shure open-back headphones, keeping the HPASCA2 in inventory minimizes downtime when a cable fails. The straight cable terminates in a connection compatible with the SRH1440 and SRH1840 and supports the same critical-listening performance as the factory cable. A locking 1/4-inch conversion is available separately via the Shure HPAQA1 threaded adapter, and the Shure HPASCA3 cable serves the SRH1540 model.
