The G6A provides 6 inches of bendable extension between a compatible Shure communication microphone and its mount, the most compact of Shure's standard gooseneck options. The short length is well suited to up-close pickup and tight desktop or panel-mount paging positions where a longer gooseneck would be unwieldy. Standard threaded ends connect the microphone to a base or fixed mounting point, and the side-vent design is built into this variant.
