The Shure CVG18D-B/C is an 18-inch gooseneck condenser microphone with an integrated desktop base, designed for speech capture in conference rooms, boardrooms, and commercial meeting spaces. The longer 18-inch gooseneck raises the cardioid electret capsule closer to a standing or seated talker, while CommShield Technology guards against RF interference from nearby wireless devices. The integrated base and 12-foot XLR cable make it a clean, install-ready gooseneck microphone solution.
Product Description
The CVG18D-B/C pairs an 18-inch (45.7 cm) gooseneck with an integrated desktop base, giving AV integrators a self-contained tabletop microphone where additional capsule height improves pickup of the talker. Dual gooseneck sections allow full articulation so the cardioid capsule can be aimed accurately at the presenter, supporting intelligibility and gain-before-feedback in conference room and boardroom deployments. An inline preamp and integrated 12-foot (365 cm) cable with XLR termination connect directly to a mixer, DSP, or wall plate. Shure's CommShield Technology guards against unwanted RF interference from portable wireless devices, which is valuable in spaces with heavy phone and laptop traffic. The black, cardioid (B/C) configuration suits permanent installation on tables, lecterns, and dais positions.
