The BETA 87C is a premium electret condenser handheld vocal microphone with an exceptionally smooth, high-end-extended frequency response and a gentle presence rise tailored for vocals. Its uniform cardioid polar pattern delivers maximum gain-before-feedback and excellent rejection of off-axis sound, creating an ideal environment for in-ear monitoring where rejection behind the singer matters. A controlled low-frequency roll-off manages proximity effect for consistent tone during close-up use, while the advanced cartridge shock mount absorbs handling noise. The dent-resistant steel mesh grille, built-in pop filter, and aluminum housing withstand the rigors of daily sound reinforcement.
