The Beta 181 Microphone Kit from Shure includes a Beta 181 handheld XLR preamplifier and interchangeable side-address cardioid, supercardioid, bi-directional, and omnidirectional condenser capsules. This line-up of capsules allows you to use the Beta 181 on a variety of sources ranging from drum overheads to piano to acoustic instruments and vocals.
