Rather than shipping with a fixed channel count, the receiver ships without active wireless channels; integrators purchase 1-channel or 4-channel licenses separately and activate them through a ShureCloud account, which also allows licenses to be transferred between ANX4 receivers as a venue's channel needs change.

Ethernet and Dante connectivity let the ANX4US integrate directly into a networked audio installation, with four RF antenna connectors (antennas sold separately) supporting distributed antenna placement for better RF coverage in large rooms. A 6.6-inch front panel color display with a five-segment channel quality meter gives on-site AV techs a quick view of RF and audio status without a laptop.
