The sled powers the receiver from industry-standard L-type batteries and works in conjunction with the ADX5BP-TA3 backplate.
Product Description
With the ADX5BS-L, the Axient Digital ADX5D can be powered by one or two L-type batteries. When two batteries are installed, one can be replaced without interrupting operation, allowing continuous runtime during long shoots and live events. The battery sled must be used with the ADX5BP-TA3 backplate, which includes the 4-pin connector required for the two components to mate and pass power. For film, broadcast, ENG, and sports production, the L-type battery sled gives the ADX5D the runtime flexibility and uninterrupted power that mobile workflows demand, using batteries already common in professional video kits.
