The Shure A901B-R-PM-1.5IN is a black pole mount kit for suspending the MXA901-R Microflex Advance Ceiling Array Microphone from the ceiling using a 1.5-inch NPT threaded pole. This mounting option is appropriate for commercial installations where a 1.5-inch NPT conduit or threaded pole is specified as the drop structure, providing a rigid, architecturally clean mounting approach in conference rooms, boardrooms, and multi-purpose AV spaces. The 1.5-inch NPT pole is not included.
Product Description
The A901B-R-PM-1.5IN provides the same suspended-pole aesthetic as the 3/8-inch threaded rod variant, but uses a 1.5-inch NPT pole — a heavier-duty mounting standard used in commercial AV and theatrical rigging applications where greater structural rigidity or conduit-integration is required. The black finish suits dark ceiling environments and exposed structural installations. AV integrators should source a 1.5-inch NPT pole of the appropriate length based on the planned microphone drop height; the pole is not included in this kit.
