A foam windscreen is the first line of defense against breath pops and light air movement on a shotgun microphone, and it wears with handling over time. The A89SW replacement foam windscreen returns a VP89S or VP82 to spec without requiring a full windshield kit. Developed by Shure with Rycote, it is shaped to fit these microphones correctly so coverage and acoustic transparency are preserved. Keeping spare windscreens on hand reduces downtime when a microphone is staged for an event, broadcast, or installed AV application.
