Product Description
A foam windscreen is the first line of defense against breath pops and light air movement on a shotgun microphone, and it wears with handling over time. The A89MW replacement foam windscreen returns a VP89M to spec without requiring a full windshield kit. Developed by Shure with Rycote, it is shaped to fit the VP89M correctly so coverage and acoustic transparency are preserved. Keeping spare windscreens on hand reduces downtime when a microphone is staged for an event, broadcast, or installed AV application. For more demanding outdoor environments, step up to the A89MW-SFT Softie windshield or the complete A89MW-KIT windshield kit.
