The Shure A32SM is a ShureLock elastic-suspension shock mount that provides secure mounting and vibration isolation for the KSM32 side-address condenser microphone. It mechanically decouples the microphone from the stand to keep floor, desk, and rack-borne vibration out of the captured signal. For studio, broadcast, and commercial AV installations built around the KSM32, the A32SM is the manufacturer-matched isolation mount.

Product Description

The A32SM suspends the KSM32 in a ring of elastic bands so that structure-borne vibration traveling through the stand is decoupled before it reaches the capsule. The ShureLock cradle holds the large-diaphragm microphone securely without the slippage common to universal mounts, which matters during long recording sessions and overhead placement. Because the KSM32 is frequently used for voiceover, broadcast, and house-of-worship vocal capture, the isolation the A32SM provides directly protects low-frequency intelligibility and removes rumble from the signal. The mount threads onto standard microphone stands and booms and supports both upright and inverted placement. As a model-specific accessory it delivers repeatable mounting across multiple identical positions, and replacement elastic bands keep it serviceable over a long deployment life.
