Product Description
The A1WS slips over the grille of compatible 515 Series, Beta 56A, and Beta 57 microphones to attenuate breath blasts, plosive pops, and low-velocity air movement before they reach the capsule. This protects intelligibility when a microphone is close-miked to a presenter or instrument, and reduces handling and airflow noise in commercial meeting and worship spaces. As an inexpensive consumable that wears with use, the A1WS is commonly stocked in quantity so AV teams can keep fresh windscreens on every microphone across a venue. It installs and removes by hand with no tools, allowing fast turnover between events.
