Product Description
The A15BT uses an internal transformer to couple two circuits while keeping them electrically isolated, which lets a technician match impedances and levels between devices that would otherwise be incompatible. Transformer isolation also breaks the galvanic connection between chassis, a common fix for hum and buzz caused by ground loops in distributed AV systems spanning multiple racks or rooms. Because it is fully passive, the A15BT needs no power and introduces no active noise, making it suitable for permanent installation in a rack or for portable use during system troubleshooting in conference rooms, broadcast facilities, and houses of worship.
