Product Overview

The Sharp XP-A175U-B is a 17,000 center-lumen laser projector built for the largest fixed installations in higher education, corporate, broadcast, and rental-and-staging environments. It pairs WUXGA (1920 × 1200) resolution on a 1.0" 3LCD engine with a filter-free sealed cooling system and a complete line of optional motorized lenses. As a high-output WUXGA installation projector, it adds HD-SDI alongside triple HDMI and HDBaseT, plus edge blending, geometric correction, and DICOM simulation. This black-cabinet model ships without a lens, so a compatible Sharp lens is selected separately to match the throw distance.

Product Description

The XP-A175U-B sits near the top of Sharp's A Series of advanced large-venue installation projectors. Its laser-phosphor light source is rated for 20,000 hours, and the sealed, dust-resistant LCD cooling system enables a filter-free design with quiet operation. The 1.0" 3LCD optical engine delivers 17,000 center lumens with a 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and accepts signals up to 4096 × 2160. Because it ships without a lens, integrators select from six motorized options including the XP-51ZL, XP-52ZL, XP-53ZL, XP-54ZL, XP-55ZL, and XP-56ZL zoom lenses, covering throw ratios from 0.53:1 to 7.51:1 with powered horizontal and vertical lens shift. Roll-free installation allows mounting at any angle, and geometric and cornerstone correction support projection onto curved and angled surfaces. Connectivity is broad: three HDMI 2.0 inputs (HDCP 2.2), HD-SDI (BNC), HDBaseT, LAN, RS-232, and a variable audio output, with Crestron, Extron, AMX, and PJLink compatibility plus remote diagnostics and ProAssist software. Picture-in-picture, edge blending, and stacking support multi-projector and mission-critical installations. A five-year warranty backs the projector. To select a compatible lens or compare other installation models, browse the Sharp collection at Creation Networks.
