Product Overview

The Sharp LD-A1381F is a 138-inch all-in-one LED display that replaces the complexity of a traditional direct view LED video wall with a single, integrated unit. Delivering Full HD (1920x1080) resolution at a fine 1.5 mm pixel pitch, this all-in-one dvLED display is built for boardrooms, all-hands rooms, and commercial meeting spaces where a tiled LCD video wall or projector would compromise image quality. With built-in speakers, an Android 13 system-on-chip media player, and a single-power-cable installation that can be completed in as little as two hours, it is one of the fastest large-format LED video wall deployments available for commercial AV integration.

Product Description

Unlike conventional direct view LED walls that require external controllers, separate audio systems, and multi-day calibration, Sharp's LD-AF Series consolidates everything into one factory-calibrated chassis. The LD-A1381F arrives with the LED control unit, modules, and speakers integrated, so AV integrators can complete a commercial LED display installation with a single power connection and standard wall-mount workflow. The 138-inch diagonal produces a 120 x 67.5 inch active image area in a 16:9 aspect ratio, sized appropriately for large conference rooms and presentation spaces where viewers sit anywhere from ten feet to the back of the room.

Image performance is driven by 3-in-1 SMD black-package LEDs at 1.5 mm pixel pitch, producing 350 cd/m² typical brightness (500 cd/m² maximum), a 6500:1 typical contrast ratio, and a refresh rate up to 3840 Hz for flicker-free on-camera use. Color processing up to 16-bit yields 281 trillion displayable colors with a 100,000-hour rated lifetime. The onboard Android 13 system-on-chip includes a high-end integrated media player and supports third-party APK applications, allowing the display to run digital signage or room-scheduling content without an external player.

Connectivity covers three HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP and a USB-C input with DisplayPort Alt Mode that also provides upstream USB for controlling connected peripherals through the downstream USB-A ports. For enterprise device management, the display integrates with Sharp's NaViSet Administrator software and is fully compatible with Crestron Connected and the Crestron XiO Cloud service, with LAN (1000Mb) and RS-232C ports for external control from any commercial AV control system. Front serviceability simplifies long-term maintenance after the LED video wall installation is complete.

Key Features

  • All-in-One dvLED Design — Integrated controller, speakers, and power deliver a complete LED video wall without external components.
  • Full HD 1.5 mm Pixel Pitch — 1920x1080 native resolution across a 138-inch diagonal produces sharp imagery at typical meeting-room viewing distances.
  • Two-Hour Installation — A single power cable and pre-assembled design let integrators complete installation in as little as two hours.
  • Android 13 System-on-Chip — The built-in media player runs digital signage content and supports third-party APK applications without an external player.
  • USB-C with DP Alt Mode — One-cable video input plus upstream USB enables peripheral control through the downstream USB-A connections.
  • High Refresh Rate — Up to 3840 Hz refresh keeps the image flicker-free for video conferencing cameras and broadcast capture.
  • Enterprise Management — NaViSet Administrator, Crestron Connected, and Crestron XiO Cloud compatibility simplify fleet control over LAN or RS-232C.
  • Front Serviceable — Modules are accessible from the front, so the display can be serviced in place without rear access.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the LD-A1381F differ from a traditional LED video wall?

Traditional direct view LED walls are built from individual cabinets that require an external controller, separate audio, and on-site calibration. The LD-A1381F ships as a single factory-calibrated unit with integrated controller and speakers, reducing installation to a wall mount and one power cable.

How long does installation take?

Sharp rates the LD-AF Series for installation in as little as two hours. The display uses a single power cable and a streamlined mounting process, which significantly reduces labor compared with cabinet-based dvLED walls.

Can it run digital signage content without an external media player?

Yes. The built-in Android 13 system-on-chip includes a high-end media player and supports third-party APK applications, so signage and scheduling content can run natively on the display.

Does it integrate with control systems like Crestron?

Yes. The display is fully compatible with Crestron Connected software and the Crestron XiO Cloud service, and it provides RS-232C and gigabit LAN ports for control from any commercial AV control processor. Sharp's NaViSet Administrator software handles multi-display fleet management.

Is the 138-inch size right for my room?

With Full HD resolution at a 1.5 mm pixel pitch, the LD-A1381F is well suited to large conference rooms, boardrooms, and all-hands spaces with viewing distances of roughly 10 feet and beyond. A 165-inch model (LD-A1651F) is available in the same series for larger venues.

What warranty does the LD-A1381F carry?

Sharp covers the display with a 2-year limited parts and labor warranty. Contact Creation Networks for extended coverage options and commercial installation support.
