Product Description
The Spectera Base Station is the central hardware of Sennheiser's Spectera platform, the company's bidirectional wideband digital wireless system. In a single 19-inch, 1RU chassis it provides 32 input and 32 output channels, combining wireless microphone transmission and in-ear monitor / IFB return paths that traditionally required separate transmitter and receiver hardware.
The base station uses up to two WMAS wideband RF carriers (6/8 MHz) to carry all 64 channels, and connects to remote antennas over the Spectera antenna cabling system. Audio I/O is handled over redundant Dante (primary and secondary RJ45) and an optional MADI (AES10) expansion slot, with support for 48 kHz and 96 kHz sample rates and individual sample rate converters on every audio interface plus wordclock I/O. Redundancy is built in throughout the unit: redundant power supplies, redundant Dante, optional redundant MADI audio I/O, and support for multiple antennas for failover, additional zone coverage, or additional spectrum capacity. The base station must be activated with a region-specific license before operation. This package includes the Spectera Base Station and three mains cables with EU, UK, and US plugs for international deployment.
