A large 88 MHz switching bandwidth and sophisticated intermodulation-free electronics let the SK 6000 operate on an equidistant frequency grid even with many transmitters in close proximity — the reality of broadcast trucks, theatres, and large houses of worship. The magnesium housing balances low weight, discreet size, and moisture shielding, and the BA 61 lithium-ion battery pack provides up to 6.5 hours of operation (B 60 AA battery set also supported). A lockable 3-pin audio input accepts Sennheiser lavalier and headset microphones — MKE 1, MKE 2, MKE 40, HSP 2, HSP 4, and SL Headmic — and the instrument cable emulation adapts it for guitar and bass. AES 256 encryption secures sensitive content.
