Product Overview
The Sennheiser SK 6000 is a digital, lightweight, and rugged high-performance bodypack transmitter for the Digital 6000 series, operating in the A5-A8 US range (550–607.9 MHz). It combines the renowned Long Range mode and Sennheiser Digital Audio Codec (SeDAC) from the flagship Digital 9000 with AES 256 encryption, making it a reliable choice for broadcast, theatre, and high-channel-count commercial deployments.
Product Description

The SK 6000 delivers the transmission reliability of Long Range (LR) mode and the audio quality of the Sennheiser Digital Audio Codec (SeDAC) shared with the Digital 9000 masterpiece, while Link Density (LD) mode with the SePAC codec packs up to five channels per MHz for spectrum-efficient multi-channel operation. A large 88 MHz switching bandwidth and sophisticated intermodulation-free electronics let the SK 6000 operate on an equidistant frequency grid even with many transmitters in close proximity — the reality of broadcast trucks, theatres, and large houses of worship. The magnesium housing balances low weight, discreet size, and moisture shielding, and the BA 61 lithium-ion battery pack provides up to 6.5 hours of operation (B 60 AA battery set also supported). A lockable 3-pin audio input accepts Sennheiser lavalier and headset microphones — MKE 1, MKE 2, MKE 40, HSP 2, HSP 4, and SL Headmic — and the instrument cable emulation adapts it for guitar and bass. AES 256 encryption secures sensitive content. Pair the SK 6000 with an EM 6000 (or EM 6000 Dante) receiver and Sennheiser lavalier or headset microphone to build a complete channel; it is also compatible with EK 6042 and EM 9046 in Long Range mode.
