Product Description

This MADI card is an official Sennheiser accessory for the Spectera Base Station, the central 1RU hardware of the Spectera bidirectional wireless platform. It adds an optical MADI interface to the base station, carrying up to 32 input and 32 output channels over the AES10 MADI standard.

The OM variant uses an optical multimode connection, the preferred choice for longer MADI runs and installations that benefit from fiber's immunity to electrical interference. By adding MADI alongside the base station's standard Dante networking, the card gives integrators a second, independent audio transport, and it can be configured for redundant MADI audio I/O so a single transport failure does not interrupt the signal path.
