The MZW02 is a compact foam windshield for the Sennheiser MKE 1 lavalier microphone capsule, providing approximately -10 dB of wind noise attenuation. Less protection than the MZW01 basket (which provides -22 dB), the MZW02 foam cap is more suitable for moderate wind and breath conditions such as indoor active presenters or mild outdoor use. The small size maintains the MKE 1's discreet appearance while providing adequate protection for most studio and moderate-field applications.
