The Sennheiser MZH 3040 is a 40cm single-flex IS series gooseneck tube for use with ME 34, ME 35, and ME 36 capsule heads in Sennheiser's installed-sound gooseneck microphone system. The 40cm length is the standard conference table speaking height option in the MZH series, and is the tube used in I40-C, I40-L, and I40-S IS series complete bundles. The single-flex design allows repositioning of the capsule within a limited range. Available in black finish; also available in a dual-flex variant (MZH 3042) for greater positioning versatility.
Product Description
The MZH 3040 is the standard-length single-flex gooseneck tube in Sennheiser's IS series, available as an individual component for custom installations and system expansions. The 40cm length is the most commonly specified gooseneck length in conference room and boardroom installations — it provides sufficient height above the conference table surface to position the capsule at an appropriate speaking distance from the seated or standing speaker. The single-flex tube has one flexible segment that can be bent to aim the capsule at the speaker's mouth, and holds its position once set. For installations requiring greater positioning flexibility than the single-flex design allows, the dual-flex MZH 3042 is available as an upgrade. The MZH 3040 accepts ME 34, ME 35, and ME 36 capsule heads at the top and connects to the installation infrastructure through its base connector interfacing with MZT 30 flange or MZS 31 shockmount hardware. It is the gooseneck component used in the I40-C, I40-L, and I40-S IS series complete bundles.
