The Sennheiser MZE 8015 is a 15cm (6-inch) extension tube for the MKH 8000 series modular microphone system. It connects between the MKH 8000 capsule head and the XLR module or digital module, carrying the audio signal through the modular system.

The MZE 8015 is used to configure MKH 8000 series microphone systems at the desired physical length. Multiple extension tubes can be combined to create longer configurations.
