Product Description
The MZA 900 is an in-line active preamplifier designed for use with Sennheiser MKH Series RF condenser microphones. It provides approximately 10 dB of additional gain and acts as an impedance matcher and buffer, enabling longer cable runs from the microphone to the preamp or recorder without signal degradation. This is particularly useful in broadcast ENG, film production, and installation applications where cable runs may be extended. The MZA 900 connects inline between the microphone and the recording or mixing equipment using standard XLR connections. Phantom power is required from the downstream device to power the unit. Compatible with Sennheiser MKH 50, MKH 60, MKH 416, MKH 8000 series, and other MKH RF condenser microphones.
