True diversity reception uses two independent RF circuits and external antennas operating simultaneously, with the system selecting the stronger signal path at all times to eliminate multipath dropouts — a key advantage over antenna-switching systems in larger venues, multi-room installations, and environments with RF interference. The EM-XSW 2-A's 960 selectable frequencies across the A band allow precise frequency coordination in dense multi-channel deployments and provide the flexibility to avoid local RF interference.
