The Sennheiser 523877 coiled cable restores the HD 25 to service when the original cable wears, kinks, or fails at the strain relief, which is one of the most common points of wear on a heavily used headphone. The cable measures 3 meters when extended and uses a coiled construction that pulls back tidily when an operator steps in toward a console or turntable. It ends in a straight 3.5mm jack plug and ships with a screw-on 6.3mm adapter, so the same cable works at a phone or interface as well as at a DJ mixer or broadcast console. The cable is compatible with the HD 25, HD 25 Plus, HD 25 1-II, and HD 25-C-II. Replacing the cable is a single-side, tool-free operation on the HD 25, so a technician can return a headphone to rotation in minutes.
