The Sennheiser HME 26 Single-Sided Electret (SKU 700321) is a closed on-ear broadcast headset combining ActiveGard hearing protection with a supercardioid electret condenser boom microphone in a single-sided configuration. The one-ear design supports situational awareness during outdoor ENG, reporter, and location production work while the electret condenser microphone provides higher sensitivity and more natural voice response than dynamic microphone alternatives. Cable sold separately.
Product Description
The HME 26 single-sided electret variant combines the on-ear ActiveGard platform of the HMD/HME 26 series with an electret condenser microphone and single-sided form factor suited for ENG reporters, field production operators, and location sound personnel who need to monitor one ear while remaining aware of the production environment. Three-setting ActiveGard attenuation (off / 95 dB / 110 dB) protects against sudden audio peaks during live monitoring. Compatible with Sennheiser Cable 26-II series (sold separately). Boom wearable on either left or right side.
