Samsung Onyx Cinema LED represents a fundamental shift in cinema presentation technology. Traditional projection systems require lamp replacement cycles, projector maintenance, and screen surface care that introduce ongoing operational costs and downtime. Onyx LED eliminates the projector entirely, replacing it with a modular LED screen that delivers sustained 500 nit peak brightness (compared to approximately 14–48 nit for projection on screen), native 1,000,000:1 contrast, and HDR capability in cinema environments.
