Product Overview
The Salamander SA/PS2 is a pull out shelf for Salamander AV cabinets. It slides equipment forward out of the enclosure so the rear connector field becomes reachable from the front, without pulling the cabinet away from the wall.
Product Description
Service access is where closed AV cabinets fail their owners. A credenza sitting flush against a wall makes the back of the equipment unreachable, so a five-minute cable swap turns into moving a 200 lb cabinet and re-leveling it afterwards. That friction is why rooms accumulate unresolved faults.
A pull out shelf removes it. The device travels forward on the slide, exposing its rear panel while the cabinet stays in place, and returns to its commissioned position afterwards. This matters most for equipment that gets touched — wireless presentation receivers that need firmware attention, switchers with changing source assignments, and anything with removable media.
