Salamander Infiniti Conference Table, 10 Person, Single Mic, Medium...
Product Overview
The Salamander Infiniti IC/10M/SM/D/BOK/GT is a 10-person conference room table for Cisco Panorama with a single factory microphone cutout, finished with a Medium Dove top and Cisco Oak trim. It pairs the warmer oak perimeter with one flush microphone position, typically a chairperson mic or reinforcement for a ceiling array rather than sole pickup.
Product Description
A single table microphone across ten seats will not cover the arc on its own — end participants sit outside its effective range and the far end hears the difference. This configuration is normally specified where the primary audio is a ceiling array and the table position serves a chairperson or a presenter location.
The cutout is machined into the specified location so the microphone sits flush, with cabling routed internally through the graphite pedestal alongside power and signal. The Cisco Oak trim suits boardrooms with existing wood millwork. Cutouts are dimensioned to the device and cannot be retrofitted.
Key Features
- Single Factory Microphone Cutout — One flush position for a chairperson or reinforcement microphone.
- Cisco Oak Trim — Warmer perimeter detail for boardrooms with wood millwork.
- Ten-Person Configuration — Boardroom sizing on the Panorama arc.
- Internal Mic Cabling — Routed through the pedestal, nothing surface-mounted.
- Cisco Panorama Geometry — All ten seats within consistent camera framing.
Typical Applications
- Boardroom
- Executive conference room
- Commercial meeting space
- Government and public-sector conference room

Competitor Comparison
Three suppliers build conference tables around certified video conferencing systems. Competitor specifications below are as published at time of writing.
| Criterion | Salamander Infiniti (this table) | Marshall Furniture CIS187-10 | Steelcase media:scape |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seat counts offered | 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 across the Infiniti line; this table seats 10. | 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14, as CIS122-6, CIS155-8, CIS187-10, CIS220-12 and CIS254-14. | Configured to order rather than sold as fixed seat-count models. |
| Microphone integration | Ordered as no mic, single mic or dual mic, so the cutout pattern is set at the factory. | Single or dual lane mic cutout locations, encoded in the model number as -S- or -D-. | Built around a central media hub for power and data rather than around mic pod cutouts. |
| Trim and finish | Dove and Cisco Oak trim options with a graphite base. | Marshall publishes a 1520 bent leg in silver powder coat as the standard base. | Broad Steelcase surface and finish program. |
| Top detail | Salamander does not publish a top thickness or edge profile for this line. | 1⅛ in thick top with a bevel edge. | Not published at model level. |
| Design intent | Built to the Cisco Panorama and Webex room geometry, with matching cable management. | Also built specifically to the Cisco Panorama room geometry. | Platform-neutral collaboration table with an integrated power and data hub. |
| Pricing | Published on this page. | Not published; quoted per configuration. | Not published; quoted through a dealer. |
How to choose: the Infiniti and the Marshall table solve the same problem and differ mainly on finish program and how each is quoted — the Infiniti publishes a price and a fixed trim menu, the Marshall is configured per order. Steelcase media:scape is the better fit when the room is platform-neutral and the requirement is integrated power and data rather than a certified conferencing geometry. Talk to our AV team if you want the room drawn before you commit to a seat count.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can one microphone serve a ten-person room?
Not as sole pickup. At ten seats a single central microphone leaves end positions outside its range. Specify it as a chairperson or reinforcement mic alongside a ceiling array, or order the dual-mic version.
Can a second cutout be added later?
No. Cutouts are machined during the factory build.
