Product Overview
The Salamander FPSA/MA2D is a two-degree mount adapter for FPS display stands. It introduces a small fixed downward angle to the display, which is used to control glare from overhead lighting and to improve viewing geometry where the audience sits below the screen centre.
Product Description
A perfectly vertical display is not always the right answer. Overhead lighting reflecting off a glossy panel lands in the viewers' eyes, and a display mounted high in a room presents its image at an angle to seated viewers. Two degrees of downward tilt corrects both without the cost or complexity of a powered tilt mechanism.
It is a fixed adapter rather than an adjustable one, so it is specified where the required correction is known — typically after a site survey identifies a lighting or sightline issue. For rooms needing variable tilt, the FPS2/ELT powered tilt stand is the appropriate specification instead.
