Cooling for high-power and "always on" components
High-performance components need effective cooling to ensure optimal operation. For high-power amplifiers or "always on" set-top boxes, sometimes passive cooling just isn't enough. The Salamander Designs Chameleon active cooling panel features two 120mm whisper-quiet fans to provide constant airflow.
You'll attach an included sensor to your hottest-running component, and the fans will kick on when the temperature reaches 80°F. In addition to providing reliable air flow for cooling, the extended panel also adds 3-1/2" to the depth of the cabinet.
