In a RemoteCam4 system, the camera-end module mounts at the camera position — on a wall mount, ceiling mount, or camera shelf — and links to the RC4-HE head-end module at the rack over the SCTLink CAT cable. The module provides the camera with HDMI video return, RS-232 control, and power on the single link, supporting Cisco PrecisionHD and Precision series cameras, Poly EagleEye models, Panasonic, AVer, ClearOne, Crestron 1Beyond, and other professional PTZ cameras depending on kit configuration. When troubleshooting isolates a fault to the camera side, replacing only the RC4-CE restores full system operation without touching the rack-side electronics, the camera mount, or the field-run CAT link. The module is a like-for-like replacement built to the original RemoteCam4 specification and pairs directly with the installed head-end module.
