The Sound Control Technologies RCF2-XMTR is a factory-replacement transmitter module for the RCF2 fiber optic camera extension system. The RCF2 system supports dual-HDMI cameras including the Cisco Quad Camera and Cisco SpeakerTrack 60 with SX80, Codec Plus, Codec EQ, and Codec Pro codecs. This replacement transmitter module enables AV integrators and facilities managers to restore a failed RCF2 system to full operation by replacing only the transmitter (camera-end) module, without purchasing a complete system replacement. It is the correct field-replacement part for RCF2 transmitter failures.
Product Description
In an RCF2 system, the transmitter module resides at the camera end and converts dual HDMI video, Ethernet, VISCA, 12V power, and audio signals into a fiber signal for transport to the receiver module at the codec end. When the transmitter module fails, replacing only the RCF2-XMTR restores system operation without replacing the receiver or the fiber cabling infrastructure. The RCF2-XMTR is a like-for-like replacement engineered by Sound Control Technologies to match the original transmitter specifications in the RCF2-CQC and RCF2-CST systems.
